PRODUCTS & APPLICATIONS

Two window specialisms within Amawood

Formfönster specialises in round and half-round windows in pine, oak and ash. Let There Be Light offers windows designed to complement its sliding systems, with slender sash profiles, different opening types and visible timber. The choice concerns how the window will be used as well as its geometry.

Let There Be Light offers windows with or without external aluminium cladding. Finishes include untreated timber, stain and lacquer, with colours across the NCS and RAL ranges. These options belong to LTBL’s offering and are not standard specifications for every Formfönster model.

About Formfönster
MATERIALS, MODELS & OPERATIONS

Choose by shape and function

Round and half-round windows

Formfönster’s ARGON models provide a starting point for circular and half-moon openings. Our round-window page explains the constructions and shows published sizing examples.

Fixed or opening

LTBL presents Fixed, French, Top turn and Sideswing models. Consider whether the window is primarily for light and views or also needs to open.

Timber with or without aluminium

LTBL offers external aluminium cladding as an option. Specify the outside finish when coordinating several windows and glazed systems on the same elevation.

Finishes and hardware

LTBL describes concealed hardware and visible fittings in matt-brushed stainless steel. Timber, finish and handles contribute to the appearance alongside the frame and sash.

DETAILS FOR YOUR PROJECT

Information to help you specify

Start with the openings in the elevation, then select a product family. The brand’s documents provide further guidance for installation and maintenance.

LTBL window models
Fixed, French, Top turn and Sideswing are presented on the official window page.
Colour and finish
LTBL lists untreated, stained and lacquered finishes, with NCS and RAL colour choices.
Installation and care
LTBL has a separate page for installation and maintenance documents. Use the instructions for the system selected.

For work on an older building, include photographs of existing profiles and glazing bars. A reference image describes the desired appearance; it does not itself establish a particular heritage profile or approval.

PREPARE YOUR ENQUIRY

Tell us what you need

Number each opening and give its dimensions and preferred construction. Indicate any windows that should match sliding systems. This separates choices shared across the elevation from requirements that apply to an individual window.
