PRODUCTS & APPLICATIONS

Two series from one factory

View is our series of timber sliding doors with lift-and-slide operation and an iroko threshold. It comes in fixed layouts, from a fixed pane to two sliding leaves, and suits projects that need a proven standard design – for example as a patio door onto a deck.

Let There Be Light (LTBL) is for larger glazed areas and slim profiles in solid timber or timber/aluminium. We make it to measure from your drawings – from standard modules to glazed sections spanning up to 12 metres – and make windows that match.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Before you order

What is the difference between a sliding door and a lift-and-slide door?

In a lift-and-slide door the sliding leaf lifts when you turn the handle and then glides easily sideways. When lowered it seals against the frame. Our sliding systems are lift-and-slide.

Can a sliding door replace a patio door?

Yes. A timber sliding door is a common choice onto a terrace or deck. It opens sideways, takes no floor space, and the fixed section lets in more light than a standard patio door.

How large can the sections be?

LTBL sections are made to measure from drawings, with spans of up to 12 metres. View comes in fixed layouts.

Do you offer a flush threshold?

View has a 55 mm iroko threshold. Describe your floor connection in the enquiry and we will check what is possible in your project.

Can windows and sliding doors look the same?

Yes. LTBL windows are designed to match the sliding systems in profiles, timber and finish.

Can I choose another colour?

Yes. White NCS S 0500-N for timber and white RAL 9003 for aluminium are standard. Other NCS and RAL colours are available as options.
